The conditions that apply when this site is used to request quotes or create an account.

01.Acceptance of Terms

Using this site means accepting the terms set out on this page. They apply to every visitor, whether a quote is requested, an account is created or the pages are simply read. If any part of these terms is not acceptable, the site should not be used.

02.Scope of the Service

This site provides auto insurance information, quote preparation and support with coverage questions. Material published here explains how motor cover generally works and is provided for guidance. A policy takes effect only once it has been issued and confirmed in writing by the relevant insurer.

03.Eligibility

Quote requests and account signup are available to residents of the United States who have reached the age of majority in their state and are legally able to enter into a contract. Submitting a request confirms that these conditions are met.

04.Account Registration

An account may be created to save quote details and review coverage information. The account holder is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under those credentials. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported using the contact details listed below.

05.Accuracy of Information

Quotes are built from the details supplied. Vehicle information, mileage estimates, driving history and named driver details must be accurate and complete. Inaccurate or missing details can change a price, and in some situations can affect whether a claim is paid, so any change of circumstances should be reported promptly.

06.Electronic Communications and SMS

Submitting a form on this site means agreeing to receive electronic communications relating to that request. Consent to service and marketing text messages is optional and is given separately through the checkboxes on the signup form.

Text frequency may vary and standard message and data rates may apply. Replying STOP ends messages and replying HELP requests assistance. Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of obtaining a quote.

07.Acceptable Use

This site may be used only for lawful purposes connected to auto insurance enquiries. The following are not permitted.

  • Submitting false, misleading or fraudulent information through any form.
  • Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any account, server or connected system.
  • Interfering with the operation of the site or with another visitor's use of it.
  • Collecting information from the site by automated means without permission.
  • Reproducing site content for commercial use without written consent.

08.Intellectual Property

The text, layout, graphics, logo and other material on this site are protected and remain the property of ElanVehicles or its licensors. Content may be viewed and printed for personal reference. Copying, republishing or adapting it for other purposes requires written permission.

09.Third Party Links

Some pages may link to sites operated by insurers, repair networks or other providers. Those sites are governed by their own terms and privacy practices, and their content is not controlled or endorsed here.

10.Disclaimer of Warranties

This site and its content are provided on an as available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. No guarantee is made that the site will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the information published will suit every situation. Cover always depends on the wording of the policy actually issued.

11.Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from use of this site, including loss of data, loss of profit or business interruption. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

12.Indemnification

Anyone using this site agrees to cover the costs of claims, damages and reasonable legal expenses arising from their misuse of the site, from a breach of these terms, or from information they submitted that proves to be false.

13.Arbitration Agreement

Any dispute arising from these terms or from use of this site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except where a claim qualifies for small claims court. Arbitration takes place under the rules of a recognised arbitration provider, and the arbitrator decides all issues apart from the enforceability of this section.

Disputes are handled individually. Claims may not be brought as a class action, a consolidated proceeding or in a representative capacity. If this arbitration section is found unenforceable in part, the remainder continues to apply.

14.Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where a matter falls outside the arbitration section above, the courts located in that state have jurisdiction.

15.Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised as services or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows the most recent revision, and continued use of the site after an update means the revised terms apply.
